UNDISCLOSED LOCATION - U.S. Marines with 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment make their way toward simulated casualties during a quick reaction force exercise in the Middle East, Oct. 10, 2017. They are part of a quick reaction force that is capable of responding to developing situations on short notice. Marines with 2/7 were tasked to conduct a QRF to quickly recover simulated casualties and take them back to safety. This was the first exercise 2/7 has conducted after replacing 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment in the U.S. Central Command area of operations.
