HQ Company Commander
Major Aaron K. Hood

Major Hood was born in Kansas City, Missouri. After graduating from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas, he went to OCS on the OCC program.  Upon Completion of TBS and MOS school (0402), He was assigned to Landing Support Company, CLR-37 as a Platoon Commander.  While assigned to Landing Support Company, he participated in numerous exercises in Southeast Asia. 

In 2010 he was assigned to a Military Training Team to Iraq and served as the Logistics Advisor to the Iraqi Marine Commandant in Basra, Iraq from 2010-2011. 

Upon return from Iraq, he was assigned to 12th Marine Regiment as the S4A and MMO. During this tour he participated in relocation shoots with 3/12 and the Regimental Headquarters, and combined exercises in Korea and the Philippines. 
 
In 2014, he was assigned to Marine Corps Combat Service Support Schools, Logistics Operations School as an instructor. He was assigned as the Course Manager for the Logistics Officer’s Course and developed curriculum for the SNCO and NCO Motor Transport, Basic Embarkation, Maintenance Management Basic and Advanced courses. 

In 2017, he was assigned to CLB-7 as the Operations Officer. During this tour he did numerous exercises at MCAGCC, Korea, and Alaska. In 2019, he was assigned to the SPMAGTF 19.2 Command Element as the S4 Officer and deployed to CENTCOM. 

In 2020, he was assigned to PP&O as the POE-30 Section Head and Action Officer for Headquarters Marine Corps Readiness. In 2022, he served as the Aide-de-camp for the Deputy Commandant, PP&O. Currently serving at Headquarters Company for U.S. Marine Corps Forces Central Command.
