Master Gunnery Sergeant Johnnie L. Jackson pays tribute on Iwo To, Japan, formerly known as Iwo Jima during a profession military education visit here Dec. 19. Members of the 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force, including Jackson, visited the island to show respect for those who lost their lives during the World War II Battle of Iwo Jima and to gain a better understanding of what Marines who fought here experienced.
